SOJA- Rest of My Life

SOJA - Rest of my life
If i could spend the rest of my life with my people
I would do it over and over again
Leave it up to them...
Leave it up to us...

If i could spend the rest of my life with my people
I would do it over and over again
I live in my mind that i know there's no equal
When i'm falling out, will they pull me back in

It was long ago
And we were younger so
And our lives we part wrote
Feel it, feeling
Yeah

And i remember every ...
Sometimes it's too much to take
Break down, wipe out, ...
And i mean it, and i ...

If i could spend the rest of my life with my people
I would do it over and over again
Leave it up to them...
Leave it up to us...

If i could spend the rest of my life with my people
I would do it over and over again
I'm within my mind that i know there's no equal
When i'm falling out, will they pull me back in

They say we...
...
If think we could help this world if only we try
But we grow up
At least that's what they say
We came to...
I tell myself every day that none of that apply

If i could spend the rest of my life with my people
I would do it over and over again
Leave it up to them...
Leave it up to us...

If i could spend the rest of my life with my people
I would do it over and over again
I'm within my mind that i know there's no equal
When i'm falling out, will they pull me back in

--

All i really need
It's all i have ever seen
Only thing works for me
Is to feel it, feeling
And when we turn to leave
And others turn to...

I choose this song because it connects a lot with me and is also from one of my favorite bands. This song connects with me because in the song it says that they want to spend the rest of his life with his friends, family, etc., and I also want to spend the rest of my life with my friends, family, etc.

“I’m Glad You Came” by The Wanted

Intro

The Wanted’s “I’m Glad You Came” is not lyrically delicious for several reasons that are proven after doing the TPCAST analysis for example the song uses repetitive verses, also the verses are very obvious and they not use metaphorical lines.

1st Paragraph

The lyrics of this song are not lyrically delicious because it uses cliché verses that don’t convey much meaning and feelings that the artist could transmit by the song. Another example that I have to prove that “I’m Glad You Came” is not a lyrically delicious song is that it doesn’t use metaphoric verses that could enhance the song and give it more meaning, for example “the sun goes down the stars come out”, is very straight forward and the audience could not extract much meanings to the song. The song does not show originality and after analyzing it you are aware of the several factors mentioned before proving that it is not lyrically delicious.
